Pellegrini sees no Irons future for midfielder

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has decided that on loan attacking midfielder Sead Haksabanovic will not be part of the club’s future.

The £3 million signing – who wore the No 17 shirt for Montenegro in last night’s 7-0 hammering by England – will either remain on loan in Sweden with IFK Norrkoping, or sold to them or any other interested club making the right offer.

The player was initially eased out of the Hammers to Malaga but was moved onto Sweden when getting little match action at the La Liga Club.

Mario Husillos stepped in and organised a deal with the Swedish outfit where he has enjoyed a decent season before moving back to Rush Green at the end of their season.

But we are told by a senior source on e mail that the manager sees no future for him at the club and that he will either be allowed to retun to his present club on loan or sold.

Arsenal winger on trial with Hammers

Highly-rated Arsenal Academy starlet Malcolm Ebiowei is on trial at West Ham with a view to sign a permanent contract

A report by AllNigeriaSoccer on Monday revealed that Arsenal had decided not to offer Ebiowei a scholarship to remain at the club and he was now training with West Ham ahead of a potential move. He featured and scored in a West Ham u16 game for the club last Saturday, before also playing the final 19 minutes for the Hammers U18’s match.

The report suggests Manchester City, Everton and teams in Germany and France as other clubs have links to Ebiowei’s agent. For a 16-year-old.

The rumoured reason for Arsenal choosing to let Ebiowei go is that they’ve had issues with him in terms of his work ethic and attitude.

The young winger is at the centre of a tug-of-war between Nigeria, England and Holland all of which want him to be part of their International youth setup.
The news was confirmed by ExWhuEmployee on his West Ham Way radio show on Phoenix FM on Wednesday evening.

‘Wow’ - The sheer horror of facing West Brom winger Grady Diangana

Darnell Furlong has revealed his first impression of Grady Diangana

By Alex Dicken

Darnell Furlong can appreciate the daunting task facing Grady Diangana’s opponents in the Championship.

Diangana, who is on loan at West Bromwich Albion from West Ham, has been in superb form this season with four goals and four assists in 14 appearances.

The 21-year-old’s scintillating displays have prompted concern over a January recall - which Manuel Pellegrini appears to have quashed - and earned him an England under-21 call-up.

And Furlong only has to think back to pre-season to recognise just how tough facing Diangana is.

“There was a game at QPR in pre season where we played West Ham, he played second half, I played the first half,” Furlong said. “I remember watching the second half thinking, wow this kid’s sharp and really effective.

“That was all I really knew about him. But since he’s come in he’s been on fire, he’s a real problem for full-backs. He’s really hard to deal with, even in training.

“I get to watch him every day and analyse him a bit but for someone coming up against him on a single day it must be tough.”

Wing wizard Diangana has shown plenty of flare on the field for the Baggies this season and his talents don’t end there.

Away from football Diangana is a talented artist, something which Furlong wasn’t expecting to learn about his teammate.

“His art took me by surprise to be honest, I still don’t believe he’s done it,” continued Furlong. “But he’s a really nice kid who just wants to learn and work hard.

“He’s a credit to himself and I’m sure he will continue to do well with that attitude.”
